Our Policy:

We continue our commitment to alleviating stress for all, but have suspended new teaching of Transcendental Meditation during the lockdown. When learning TM for the first time, it's essential to have one face -to- face session. Much can be delivered online – except this vital first instruction – so for your safety we are following the national health guidelines.

Many of our TM teachers are offering LIVE online info sessions and can answer your questions directly - or you can call your local TM centre for more information.

You only learn TM once, and the right start is essential to get the full benefits of this highly effective, evidence-based technique.

We can assure you that as soon as the current restrictions on physical meetings are lifted, we will be teaching full-on. There's a large backlog of people eager to learn TM, so do get in touch with your local centre now for an introduction and to book. Also they will be able to give you some calming breathing techniques over the phone or video link, to reduce your anxiety levels in the meantime.

Register for an online info session

The first step is to attend a free introductory talk or "Info Session".
This will be presented by a certified teacher of Transcendental Meditation and generally takes about 1 hour. You will find out:

  • Why TM is so effective for stress and anxiety
  • Why anyone can practise TM
  • What benefits you can realistically expect
  • How it works – the process of transcending
  • How TM differs from other meditations
  • What happens during TM

Following the talk there will be an opportunity to meet privately with the Teacher to discuss personal considerations.

The talk is a prerequisite to joining a course of instruction in TM, but there is no commitment to learn. It is open to everyone even if you only have a mild curiosity! Feel free to bring a friend.
