Pavel has been living in London for the last fifteen years. He learned TM in his native Russia in 1994 and has been teaching it since 1996. He has taught people from various backgrounds including sports professionals, the police force and people from creative industries. He spent several years working in the Transcendental Meditation organisation, translating educational materials and helping to run international courses.
Magdalena has been practising Transcendental Meditation since 1999 and has been a full-time TM teacher for several years. Over the years Magdalena has found that TM helped her so much, in so many ways, that she really wanted to share this technique with everyone. This inspired her to become a TM teacher, which allows her to be a guide on this wonderful inward journey towards becoming, ultimately, the best version of ourselves. If you would like to know more about TM, you can either schedule a free 15 min chat by clicking this link, or call Magdalena on 03331 231 008.
Anna has been meditating since 1981 and teaching TM for over 20 years. Anna personally found TM of great benefit in terms of physical health and she experienced increased self-awareness. Anna is deeply honoured to have witnessed great benefits in others who have learnt through our TM Centre.
Courses of Instruction
Once you have attended an introductory talk, you can book into one of our courses to learn TM. These are held weekly at the Central London Centre and at other Centres throughout London. Courses run from Saturday - Tuesday (other times on request). The course consists of a one and a half hour session each day for four consecutive days. A flexible follow up programme is available afterwards to support you in your practice.
What Happens When You Meditate?
The TM technique allows your mind to easily settle inward, until you experience the most silent and peaceful level of your own awareness. It is completely different as it involves no concentrating or focusing, no trying to "empty the mind".
TM's Scientifically Proven Health Benefits
Hundreds of published research studies on the TM technique have documented its effectiveness on stress and anxiety, brain function, cardiovascular health and more
What people are saying
about Transcendental Meditation
TM is the only meditation practice that has been shown to reduce blood pressure…all other meditation techniques, including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction are not recommended in clinical practice to lower blood pressure.
Perhaps its greatest benefit is that it's relatively quick to learn and easy to master. No waiting weeks or months of practice before you see results"
According to both the Australian CSIRO and American Heart Association (AHA), the TM technique is the only meditation technique that has been shown to effectively reduce high blood pressure.
A 2009 study found Transcendental Meditation helped alleviate stress in college students, while another found it helped reduce blood pressure, anxiety, depression and anger.
How is Transcendental Meditation different
from other meditations?
Compared to other meditations TM is different in two ways.
1. Absolutely effortless
- No concentrating
- No control of the mind
- No mindfulness (monitoring of thoughts)
- No trying to "empty the mind"
- Anyone can do it, even children with ADHD
2. Proven effective
TM has been proven effective for stress and anxiety, clarity of mind, and more.
