Our Policy:

We are pleased to announce that we are providing courses to learn Transcendental Meditation safely in accord with current Government guidelines, as and where conditions allow.

There are four key sessions of about 90 minutes each on four consecutive days for learning Transcendental Meditation.

The initial session of personal instruction continues to be delivered in person by highly qualified certified Teachers, one-to-one. Your local teacher will provide you with guidance as to how we are meeting Government, Health & Safety Executive & WHO guidelines, and the measures we take for your safety and comfort.

The three sessions on the days following personal instruction can be completed with the use of the TM App. This provides a comprehensive and interactive experience, in your own time and in your own home. It is supported by daily group meditation and personal check-ins via Zoom with your teacher.

Where feasible, some teachers may provide follow-up sessions in person, for small numbers. Please contact your local teacher to check their plans and available dates.

We are confident that you will find learning Transcendental Meditation a safe, enjoyable and fulfilling experience.

Take the first step

Public introductory talks are currently being replaced with online webinars.
These are advertised under each location. If your local Centre is not advertising a webinar, please call them direct. Otherwise ...

Register for an online info session

The first step is to attend a free introductory talk or "Info Session".
This will be presented by a certified teacher of Transcendental Meditation and generally takes about 1 hour. You will find out:

  • Why TM is so effective for stress and anxiety
  • Why anyone can practise TM
  • What benefits you can realistically expect
  • How it works – the process of transcending
  • How TM differs from other meditations
  • What happens during TM

Following the talk there will be an opportunity to meet privately with the Teacher to discuss personal considerations.

The talk is a prerequisite to joining a course of instruction in TM, but there is no commitment to learn. It is open to everyone even if you only have a mild curiosity! Feel free to bring a friend.
